We may be socially distanced, but we are still connected as a community.
Fort Bend High Schools Quaranzine features original artwork, photography, poetry, writing, and more from Fort Bend ISD high school students created during the Covid-19 pandemic. Any current high school student attending school in Fort Bend ISD is eligible to submit their original work as long as submissions follow the submission guidelines.
Our goal is to publish student submissions once a month, as long as we have something to publish.
This is an opportunity to express your voice through creativity.
Please read the guidelines carefully and make sure you follow them. If you do not follow the guidelines, your submission might not be included in the current issue.
All submissions must be the original work of a current Fort Bend ISD high school student. You may submit one drawing, painting, photograph, poetry, fiction, or book review only once a month. Submissions received before noon on the third Friday of every month will be included in the next issue. The next due date is Wednesday, Nov. 18th.
Submissions will be checked for grammatical and spelling errors. Minor errors will be fixed by a librarian before posting to the Quaranzine.
Submissions must not include profanity, violence, racist or sexist language or images, sexual content, drugs, alcohol, or any other content that is not appropriate for school. Every submission will be viewed by one or more FBISD high school librarians to verify the content is appropriate. Any submissions that violate these requirements will not be included in the Quaranzine.
If an entry contains slang, it must be school appropriate. If requested, the student must be able to provide a link to an online dictionary explaining what the slang means.
Please include any tags you would like to add to your submission. Make sure the tag is school appropriate.
